Here are 5 manners to interpret the dream according to the topic.
(1) When someone begins to describe his dream in front of the interpreter, he should say to him with prayer words: May the dream you saw be good, you should describe your dream.
(2) Do not be hasty in hearing dreams and interpretations in a good way.
(3) After listening to the dream, he should consider it, if the dream is good, then give good news to the dreamer and explain its interpretation, and if it is bad, then he should describe the best possible among the various possibilities. Whether the dream is good or bad is the same, then he should interpret the one he prefers in the light of the principle, and if it is not possible to give preference, then he should ask the name of the dreamer and give the interpretation accordingly, and interpret the dreamer.
(4) Do not interpret when the sun rises, when it sets, or when the sun sets.
(5) The dreams (khawab) told to the interpreter are his trust, so he should not reveal these dreams to anyone else unnecessarily.
Hadith About Dream
Narrated Abu Salama: I used to see a dream which would make me sick till I heard Abu Qatada saying, I too, used to see a dream which would make me sick till I heard the Prophet saying, A good dream is from Allah, so if anyone of you saw a dream which he liked, he should not tell it to anybody except to the one whom he loves, and if he saw a dream which he disliked, then he should seek refuge with Allah from its evil and the evil of Satan, and spit three times (on his left) and should not tell it to anybody, for it will not harm him. (BUKHARI-7044)
