The Meaning of Taqwa is Allah Almighty has made man respected and dignified in all his creations, but at the same time, he has kept both good and bad qualities in his nature. Both goodness and evil can come from any human being, good deeds and bad deeds are also possible from a human being. If he embellishes his life and its special moments with virtues, excellence, purity, and obedience then this is a tremendous sign of his being successful and honorable in the eyes of the Creator and the creatures, and this is piety or piousness. The name of preventing the self from sin and wrong is piety, so whoever wants to get piety, should not follow the requirements of immorality, corruption, and sin, then he will automatically become pious. The more piety there is in his life, the more dignified he will be. After faith, righteousness and piety are very important in human life, that's why piety has been mentioned in the Qur'an and Hadith. Generally, people think that taqwa is impossible and it is difficult to be pious, it is not an easy assignment for everyone, but the fact is that adopting taqwa is very easy, and becoming pious is an optional act. Allah has never given any order to human beings that are beyond their power and ability. Levels of Taqwa
There are three levels of piety, (Taqwah) when we hear the word Mut'taqi, the meaning comes to mind i.e pure, pious and sanctified although the point is that every true Muslim is not a hypocrite. He is pious because according to the definition of the scholars of the Ummah, there are three levels of piety: low, average, and high.
The first level of piety is that the servant avoids disbelief and polytheism, this is the lowest level of Piety (Taqwah). Every Muslim has it and if not more, the servant should at least do enough to avoid disbelief and polytheism, then he will be saved from eternal punishment in the Hereafter, which is why this level of piety has been declared mandatory.
The second level of piety is when a person avoids polytheism, shirk, and all minor and major sins and evils.
The third and highest level of Taqwah is that a person repents from all sins and prohibitions also avoids abominations and suspicions and Does not engage in anything other than Allah. This is true piety and true piousness.
A pious life makes a person a model person. A Muslim is not only bound by a regulation in the collective life but also the individual life, he sets the goals of construction and refinement of life according to a constitution and law.
There are many verses and sayings of the Prophet ï·º (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about piety in the Qur'an and the Hadiths of the Prophet. The main purpose of all worship is to create fear and piety of Allah in the heart of man. Piety is the name of the state of the heart, after attaining it, the heart begins to hang back from sins, and it has an enthusiasm for good deeds. The first trait of religious elders and scholars has been piousness. Reflecting on one's actions and deeds promotes piety and fasting is an excellent means of attaining piety. Piety is the supreme characteristic that makes a person human. The name of piety is the name of purity that keeps one's foot clean from the pollution of minor and major sins based on the fear of Allah. And every act of disobedience to Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is called a sin.
Taqwa in Quran:
"O you who have believed, fear Allah. And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow - and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do." (Surah Al-Hashr 59:18)
"And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out. And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will complete His purpose. Allah has already set for everything an [decreed] extent." (Surah At-Talaq 65:2-3)
"Indeed, the noblest of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted." (Surah Al-Hujurat 49:13)
"O you who have believed, fear Allah and speak words of appropriate justice. He will [then] amend for you your deeds and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly attained a great achievement." (Surah Al-Ahzab 33:70-71)
