Every Muslim is familiar with the word Qayamat (Judgement Day) and its horror. Judgement Day is the day on which this world will be destroyed and humans and jinn will be gathered in Meydan Mahshar. Believing in Qayamat (Judgement Day) is a Muslim's faith. It is an essential part and it is very important to be aware of the details of this day because when there is knowledge, one will prepare for this day. The second is that when a person learns about the Resurrection, he will understand the fact that we did not come to this world forever, but the world is about to perish and everything in it is mortal. It has also been explained that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Peace Be Upon Him), may use to tell his Companions (Sahabah), (may God bless him and grant him peace), about the Day of Resurrection (Qayamat). Because this is a very important matter, it is the responsibility of every Muslim to be aware of it. It is a pity that we rarely mention this day. They are sleeping in the slumber of negligence, there is no one to raise the alarm. Very few people can see where the world is going. We are getting closer to this terrible day moment by moment. It is only in the knowledge of Allah, so it is an unseen thing that we should believe in as firmly as we believe in our own being alive. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Peace Be Upon Him), did a great favor to this Ummah that the signs of the Resurrection (Qayamat) were explained in great detail, and by the grace and mercy of Allah, that information reached us from generation to generation. We need to be aware of these signs. After which the analysis phase will start. As it is mentioned in the Holy Quran
Signs of Qayamat Day of Judgement
Scholars have divided the signs of the Day of Resurrection (Qayamat) into two parts, the first type is called minor signs and the second type is called major signs. The Minor signs mean those signs of the Resurrection (Qayamat) which have occurred since the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and will continue to occur until the appearance of Hazrat Imam Mahdi (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ). Among the minor signs, some signs have fully appeared, some have partially appeared, and a chain is ongoing, and some will continue to appear until the appearance of Hazrat Imam Mahdi (R.A). After the appearance of Imam Mahdi (R.A) the series of "Great Signs" will begin.
The second type of signs, which are called Major signs, are those that will begin to appear after Imam Mahdi (R.A), a series of appearances that will continue until the blowing of the trumpet. The signs will appear one after the other like pearls falling from silken pearls. As soon as they are finished, the Day of Resurrection will occur. These signs of judgment day refer to the deterioration of creative work and traditional values. This shows the blurring of gender, with men and women taking on traditional traits and characteristics associated with the opposite sex. It can be decrypted as a symbol of moral and social degradation, reflecting a departure from cultural standards and values. On the other hand, some may see it as a sign of progress and increased acceptance of gender variety. This sign particularly points to the idea of a change of gender or sex.
Adultery (Zina) will be common and a breakdown of traditional values and societal norms occur. There will be increasing interest of men in men and women in women and this can lead toward a haram relationship i.e relationship without marriage or Nikah. There will be an increase in materialism and luxury and amenity. Perjury and divorce increase, and there will be a decline in trust and stability within society. The happening of sudden deaths and lack of safety and security in the world also arise.
The craze of men obeying their wives and going against their mothers will destroy families. The huge gap between fathers and sons, and closeness to friends, will decline family importance. The presence of nude women despite them wearing transparent clothes lack modest respect for themselves and others. People will forget to worship Allah and do unfair acts and departs from their religious values and principles. There will be a forgetting of Halal-Haram. Everyone will go after money despite its haram and prioritize money over principles and ethics which can decline the values and principles in the community.
