Hazrat Isa علیہ السلام is the Messenger of Allah and Prophets of Bani Israel. It is clear from this statement of the Holy Quran that the blessed birth of Hazrat Isa علیہ السلام (peace be upon him) is a sign of the power of God and His glory is a strange manifestation of creation. The fathers of other prophets are mentioned side by side. The prophets are attributed to their respective fathers, while Hazrat Isa علیہ السلام, has always been to his mother, and he was always called the son of Hazrat Maryam. There is no mention of his father in any verse of the Qur'an or any hadith, so Muslims believe that Hazrat Isa علیہ السلام was born without a father. Hazrat Isa علیہ السلام announced his prophethood in his mother's lap. The nation you came to was Bani Israel. God sent you as a messenger to reform and guide this nation and sent you with proofs, visions, signs, achievements, and Miracles. It has been the Sunnah of Allah since ancient times that when a prophet and a messenger are sent for the guidance of a nation or the welfare of the human universe, then he is blessed by Allah with proofs and miracles.
Miracles of Hazrat Isa علیہ السلام
Among the miracles of Hazrat Isa علیہ السلام that were demonstrated to the nation, the Holy Quran has mentioned four miracles.
(1) He used to bring dead people back to life by the order of Allah.
(2) He used to restore sight to the born blind and cure lepers.
(3) He used to make a bird out of clay and blow into it and he used to make a bird out of clay.
(4) Hazrat Isa علیہ السلام used to tell who has eaten what? And what has been preserved in the house.
Despite the many miracles he performed, not everyone accepted Prophet Isa's علیہ السلام message. Some people were covetous of his popularity, while others were suspicious of his claims. However, Prophet Isa علیہ السلام continued to preach the message of Islam, and he stayed steadfast in his faith, even in the face of difficulty and hardships. As a result of the calling and preaching of Hazrat Isa علیہ السلام, his people became fiercely against him and became the enemy of his life. They wanted to remove you from the path, so they tried to kill you in different ways. The Jewish people failed in their tricks to kill him and Allah's plan prevailed. The Holy Qur'an also denied the crucifixion of Jesus and made it clear that he was not martyred, rather, Allah Tabarak raised him to the heavens alive. Allah Tabarak and Taala explained this fact in verses 157-158 of Surah An-Nisa
Hazrat Isa علیہ السلام is one of the great signs of the Day of Resurrection, Hazrat Isa علیہ السلام coming will not be from the earth, but from the sky. When Hazrat Isa علیہ السلام comes again near the Day of Resurrection, he (peace be upon him) will live for forty years and will raise the flag of Islam in the whole world, Islam will spread in every corner of the world and all other religions will end and only Islam will remain. At the time of Islam, all the new religions will be wiped out. Universal glory of Islam will appear on the descent of Hazrat Isa علیہ السلام and the glory of disbelief will end when he comes, the flag of Islam will be raised high and there will be peace and tranquility everywhere.
In Sahih Muslim Hadith, Prophet Isa علیہ السلام will descend and lead the Muslims in prayer, and when the enemy of Allah (i.e. the Dajjal) sees them, he will dissolve like salt in water. but Allah will kill Dajjal by the hand of Hazrat Isa. And Hazrat Isa علیہ السلام will show the blood of Dajjal on his spear to the people. It is said that the purpose of the coming of Hazrat Isa علیہ السلام will be to crucify the cross, kill pigs and kill the Dajjal (the complete end of Judaism and Christianity). By your hands, Allah will grant Islam supremacy in the whole world.
Verses of Quran about Hazrat Isa علیہ السلام
"Behold! The angels said: 'O Maryam! Allah has chosen you and purified you, chosen you above the women of all nations. O Maryam! Worship your Lord devoutly: prostrate yourself, and bow down (in prayer) with those who bow down.'" (Quran 3:42-43)
"And (remember) when Allah said: 'O Isa, son of Maryam! Did you say to people, "Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah?"' He said: 'Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen.'" (Quran 5:116)
"And We made the son of Maryam and his mother a sign, and We gave them refuge on high ground, a place of quiet and security, watered by a fresh spring." (Quran 23:50)
"And [make him] a messenger to the Children of Israel, [who will say], 'Indeed I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I design for you from clay [that which is] like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird by permission of Allah. And I cure the blind and the leper, and I give life to the dead - by permission of Allah. And I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses. Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you are believers.'" (Quran 3:49)
